FAQs

  • Local boat landings include Apple Island (3 minute drive), Green Pond Landing (14 minute drive) and Event Center, and Double Springs Landing 7 minute drive). Broyles landing is only a 4 minute drive from the cottage.

  • Lakewood Cottage is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from Clemson, SC and approximately 24 minutes to Anderson, SC.

  • Ingles and Bi-Lo are conveniently located approximately 11 minutes from Lakewood Cottage on HWY 24.

  • Attend concerts and more at Anderson Civic Center, an easy 20 minute drive away.

    Portman Arena and The Galley Restaurant are located only 8 minutes away.

Lakewood Cottage is lovingly owned by Cheryl Ward, a family-centered grandmother of 7 (and great-grandmother of 2!) who adores her dog Coco, pours her heart into gardening, and has filled the cottage with thoughtful touches and cozy décor to make every guest feel at home.
